Product Description
Palmitoylethanolamide(PEA), also known as palmitoylethanolamide, is an endogenous fatty acid amide and belongs to a class of nuclear transcription factor agonists. PEA has been shown to bind to a receptor in the cell nucleus (nuclear receptor) and affect a variety of biological functions related to chronic pain and inflammation. It is a natural anti-inflammatory agent. The main target of palmitamide is thought to be peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-alpha).
