Product Description
Melatonin (MT) is one of the hormones secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. Melatonin belongs to the indole heterocyclic compound, its chemical name is N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, also known as pineal gland, melatonin, melatonin. After melatonin is synthesized, it is stored in the pineal body, and sympathetic nerve excitation controls the pineal cells to release melatonin. The secretion of melatonin has an obvious circadian rhythm, with secretion being suppressed during the day and active at night.

Melatonin can inhibit the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, reducing the levels of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, gonadotropin, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone. It can also directly act on the gonads, reducing androgen, estrogen and Progesterone content.
