L-citrulline
Product Description
L-Citrulline is a non essential amino acid and an important intermediate in the citrulline cycle. Its chemical formula is C6H13N3O3, with a molecular weight of 175.19 g/mol.
L-citrulline can be converted to citrulline in the body through a series of enzyme catalyzed reactions, and then further converted to creatine. Unlike citrulline, L-citrulline does not directly provide energy in the body, but participates in amino acid metabolism and urea cycle.
